Funeral and Memorial Services
Our mission at The Cremation Center of Southern Utah is to help you decide how to honor your life or the life of your loved one.
Create Healing Experiences
It is tremendously important for most families to remember their loved one with a funeral or memorial service. A service should be tailor-made event that reflects the personality, significance, and value of the deceased. Services may be simple or elaborate, religious or secular, traditional or contemporary.
Funeral Services
Funeral services facilitate the sharing of memories between family and friends. They also channel broad community support and allow friends and neighbors to pay their respects to the family. A well-planned funeral service is a catalyst to the healing process. Joining with others to remember the deceased evokes memories that will help the bereaved adjust to the reality of the loss.
Burial Services
Many cemeteries allow the burial of cremated remains. If burial is selected, the casket may or may not be present during the
service. You can choose to follow tradition with a viewing followed by a
funeral service, or opt for a more informal service.
There is no set formula for honoring your loved one. We’re here to guide you, listen to your concerns, share our experience, and help you decide how to gather together prior to your loved one's interment.
Cremation Services
Cremation is growing in popularity. Cremated remains may be buried in a cemetery or placed in a niche to provide a permanent memorialization for families and friends to gather and pay tribute. Cremated remains may be kept at home in a unique urn, divided among loved ones in keepsake-sized mementos, or placed inside cremation jewelry. Scattering cremated remains in a favorite location is also a popular option.
