Funeral and Memorial Services
Our mission at the Cremation Center of Southern Utah is to help you decide how to honor your life or the life of your loved one.
Funeral Services
Can you have a funeral if you choose to be cremated?
Yes, absolutely. Every option that is associated with traditional burial is also available when choosing cremation, including a viewing, funeral or memorial service, celebration of life, and burial.
Funeral services facilitate the sharing of memories between family and friends. They also channel broad community support and allow friends and neighbors the opportunity to pay their respects to the family and to the deceased.
Memorial Services
It is tremendously important for most families to remember their loved one with a personalized funeral or memorial service. A service should be a tailor-made event that reflects the personality and uniqueness of the deceased. Services may be simple or elaborate, religious or secular, traditional or contemporary.
A well-planned service is a catalyst to the healing process. Joining with others to remember the deceased evokes memories that will help the bereaved adjust to the reality of the loss.
Burial Services
Cremated remains may be buried in a cemetery or placed in a niche to provide a permanent memorialization for family and friends to gather and pay tribute to the deceased.
Cremated remains may also be scattered, kept at home in a unique urn, divided among loved ones in keepsake-sized mementos, or placed inside cremation jewelry.
Witness Cremation
We believe in allowing individuals the opportunity to witness the cremation of a family member.
Our beautiful cremation witness room offers a comforting and peaceful space to say goodbye to your loved one. Please contact us for more information.
