Lynn Chamberlain

Funeral and Cremation Preplanning Consultant

Lynn was born and raised in Hurricane, UT, and graduated from Hurricane High School. He served a mission to the Philippines, studied at SUU (formerly SUSC), and married Kay Heideman. Lynn attended the Brooks Institute of Photographic Arts and Science and graduated with a BA in Commercial Photography. After moving back to Toquerville in 1981, Lynn started a photography business. Lynn taught Biology at Hurricane High School for four years. Lynn later went to work for the Division of Wildlife, managing public relations for Southwestern Utah for 26 years. He hosted a weekly radio show entitled, “The Wild Side.” Lynn also hosted a TV show from 2005-2006 entitled, “Outdoor Photo Adventures.”


After retirement (which wasn’t really a retirement), Lynn became a hospice chaplain and had many spiritual experiences with the patients he assisted. He has been the Mayor of Toquerville since 2018, and he teaches digital photography at Dixie State University. Lynn has worked as a Funeral and Preplanning Consultant with Serenity Funeral Home for the last four years. Lynn has been married to Kay for 45 years, has five grown children, and will soon have 23 grandchildren.
