Duane A Lamoreaux
Funeral Service Professional
Duane was born and raised in Paragonah, UT, and was a school teacher for forty years before beginning a career in the funeral business. Duane taught every grade from third through twelfth, and he was also employed as a teacher in youth corrections and the prison in Cedar City. He loves to tell people that he spent ten years in prison, which is true, but he was able to go home every night and weekend. Prior to his retirement, he was chosen as the Corrections Education Teacher of the Year in the State of Utah. Duane is one of the most social people you will ever meet and can have a great conversation with anyone. He and his wife, Sonya, now reside in St. George. Duane has three children, thirteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Duane enjoys cutting wood, running chainsaws, and gardening. He believes Paragonah is the center of the universe and says it can be proven mathematically. Duane loves the funeral profession and feels honored to help every family he meets.
